在陪护儿媳的近1000个日子里，婆婆本着记录元元康复历程的初衷，把两年多来的生活点滴、酸甜苦辣，拍成了800多个短视频发在自己的社交账号上。
“这个小女孩个子挺高的，蛮懂事的，也很成熟。”但随后又补了句：“看着怪让人心疼的。”
宁言喜把母亲的话转述给韩元元听，一句“让人心疼”让韩元元泪眼婆娑。
出生于安徽阜阳农村的韩元元从小就是个留守儿童，那种被父母疼着、爱着，一家人齐齐整整围坐在一起吃饭的普通幸福，对她来说却是一种奢望。
婚后，小夫妻俩和公公婆婆生活在一起。从小到大父母都不在身边的韩元元把公婆当亲生父母般孝顺，婆婆唐利也心疼儿媳的懂事体贴，拿她当女儿看待。
随着两个活泼可爱的儿子先后降生，一家人更是把韩元元当公主一般宠着，连大姑姐都和元元处成了姐妹。
而已经上小学的两个儿子的眼睛最雪亮，他们认为妈妈是家里不可或缺的“董事长”。
在商场做服装导购的韩元元很喜欢婆婆的爽朗开明，衣品颇佳的她把自己打扮得漂漂亮亮的同时，也把婆婆拾掇得美美的。
“每次我俩出去旅游、逛街，别人都不相信我俩是婆媳。”婆婆的手机里存了一大堆和儿媳一起拍的照片和视频，经常拿出来骄傲地和旁人分享，这种胜似母女又形如朋友的婆媳关系一度让人觉得不可置信。
和年少时的留守生活相比，韩元元觉得，如今的自己可谓从灰姑娘变成了白雪公主，本来就很美的她被幸福滋养得闪闪发光。
但这种平静又幸福的生活，随着一场厄运的降临戛然而止。
“当时医生已经下了病危通知书，说瞳孔已经散开了，一家人都崩溃了，我当时都不会走路了。”说起当时的情形，宁言喜依然心有余悸。
“儿子有老婆，孙子有妈妈，一家人才齐齐整整，家里才完美。”这是婆婆对一个幸福完整的家最朴素的理解。
看着原本乐观美丽的妻子躺在病床上一动不动，宁言喜哭得不成样子。
为了陪护韩元元，宁言喜辞去了工作，在医院寸步不离照顾妻子。白天，他经常和元元絮絮叨叨地聊天，就当她醒着一样；晚上，他就蜷缩在病床的一侧搂着妻子睡觉，生怕妻子醒来后的第一眼看不到自己。
看着憔悴得不成人形的儿子和昏迷不醒的儿媳，唐利也选择辞去工作，与儿子轮流陪护。
几个月下来，母子俩几乎没有睡过一个好觉，困了就在病床边的椅子上打个盹儿，俩人都廋了20多斤。他们没有想过请护工，一是担心对方照顾不好韩元元，二是为了给元元治病，家底几乎掏空了。
即便如此，唐利依旧没有半句怨言。她经常在儿媳的耳边轻言细语：“孩子，快点儿好起来吧，等你好了，咱娘儿俩再穿着漂亮衣服去逛街。”
看到妻子睁眼，宁言喜喜极而泣。他握着妻子的手颤抖地问：“宝，你还认识我是谁吗？知道的话就眨眨眼睛。”韩元元眨了眨眼。
妻子醒来后，很长时间都没有表情，宁言喜各种搞怪，只为博妻子一笑。在他看来，让自己世界灿烂的不是阳光，而是妻子的笑容。第一次看到妻子露出笑容时，宁言喜就在心里发誓，无论对方变成何种模样，都会陪她走下去。

儿媳患病之初，是唐利毫不犹疑地拿出家里所有的积蓄全力抢救；先后3次开颅手术把家底掏空后，又是唐利在家族群里哭着为儿媳筹钱；面对后期高昂的康复费用，婆婆同样没有退缩，她开始和儿子宁言喜直播带货，为儿媳赚钱治病。
没想到，视频播放量竟达到惊人的4000万次，点赞170万，评论8.6万，网友的每一条留言都给了这个家莫大的鼓励。
唐利就是从那时开始用视频记录儿媳的恢复日常：元元睁眼了，元元会笑了，元元发声了……两年多时间，近1000个日日夜夜，她拍了将近900条视频。如今，账号粉丝已超过600万，点赞2亿多。
让粉丝们感动的是婆婆对儿媳的爱，是丈夫对妻子的不离不弃。唐利经常给儿媳读网友那些感人的留言，给她信心和力量。
因为唐利和儿子宁言喜长期在医院陪护韩元元，赚钱成为一个迫在眉睫的大难题。
就在这个时候，直播带货的风潮来到了。敏锐的唐利当机立断，和儿子开始了直播带货。两年多来，他们直播超过450多场，带过的商品有百余种。
在韩元元的康复过程中，婆婆无疑是付出最多的那个。她用轮椅推着儿媳，从阜阳到南京，从南京到浙江……听说哪里的康复医院好，她就往哪里赶。
在爱的包围中，元元一点点康复。在刚开始能动能发声时，她就摸着婆婆的脸含糊不清地表达道：“你没生我，但你养了我。”她心疼婆婆为自己熬瘦了许多，也怜惜婆婆为自己生出了白发。

虽然说话口齿不清，但在婆婆的翻译下，韩元元已经可以和别人交流了，而且能自行吃饭，还可以在家人的搀扶下蹒跚行走。
